Early in 2011, Sands Resorts announced full vacation packages with no-cost additions for condominium and hotel accommodations. This allowed guests to “Rent the Condo and Get the Rest for Free.” Their new marketing slogan gained rapid popularity as it boasted free admission to off-site attractions such as Diamond Back Adventure Camp, Getaway Adventure Cruise, and Wild Water and Wheels. Guests also enjoyed the large array of on-site amenities including a waterpark, magic shows, weekly fireworks, Hall of Heroes, health clubs, kids programs, and live entertainment.

Since summer, their proven results show great success in both marketing concept and revenues generated. The free admission offers over $500 in savings to many families. Sands Resorts’ reputation for inclusive-packaging continues growing steadily among new travelers as well as repeat clientele. Their 3-pay payment plan has also encouraged visitors to make reservations earlier in the year.

Lee Rawcliffe, CEO of Sands Resorts, believes that 2012 will reap more positive results as the concept continues to expand. “It may be somewhat unique for the Myrtle Beach area, however it allows Sands’ guests to enjoy affordable vacations with the extras,” according to Rawcliffe. “I believe this is what’s behind the success of cruise lines.”

Sands Resorts will be complimenting their inclusive vacation offers with new Loyalty Club benefits highlighting area discounts and bonuses to golf, shopping, entertainment, and attractions. The vacation savings continues to climb while planning your vacation becomes more simplistic.
